What the Song Didn't Tell You the Movie Will

Inspired by an old post I started at the MHVF forums. I'd love to hear about more of these. Don't know if I'd like to watch them all. Country tunes seem to work best. Maybe the studios should go back to this well rather than continuing to remake the John Carpenter catalog and old television shows.

Yeah, I don't know what it is. I haven't seen most of these films myself, but the concept fascinates me. Can you think of any others?

Hi, I've recently discovered your blog, great stuff!

I realize I'm 2 yrs late to this party but here's two that come top of mind:

Can't Buy Me Love
Take This Job and Shove It

I'm sure there are dozens more

scratch that last comment I sent . . . I see you included Take This Job on your post, and Can't Buy Me Love isn't really a movie about the song, it just stole the title. i still love your blog though!
