Rupert Pupkin Presents "Bad Movies We Love"

My old friend Rupe was good enough to invite me to participate in his "Bad Movies We Love" series.  I told him I'm not totally enamored of that school of thought, but I offered to do something on a flawed,  perhaps "incoherent text" that I'm quite fond of:

I am a HUGE fan of the Blog. But I am beyond frustrated! I could contribute more to the Bad movies We Love if I could rangle Netflix into having more of the movies I want to watch. I have more in my Saved queue than in my regular queue! Ned, you most likely don't have to deal with this cause maybe you work in the business...but, WTF, why doesn't NFX have movies that are clearly out on DVD? I am a struggling Social Worker who can't buy every damn movie..Ouch.

aburbage,

Thanks for the love, man. I don't have Netflix at the moment...way too many discs to watch in my own personal collection.

Netflix Instant is great for rarities and oddities that are not available on DVD, but I guess not so great for new releases and for many catalog titles that are available on a physical disc.

Ned, So sorry to vent about Ntflx, thanks for the forum to do that. I was able to see Teenage Lovedolls (1985), who has that!!! But, get this....they don't have Day of the Locusts (1975)or Pump Up The Volume (1990), The Swimmer(1968) or Times Square (1980). Don't have the technology to do streaming so I'll just deal and read your blog.Have some film fiend friends who loan me dvds. Alright, keep up the fantastic work...
