Dirty Old New York aka Fun City, Part III

Dirty Old New York aka Fun City continues with the third, but not final, installment.  Parts I and II have been updated recently.  Dirty Old New York Subway is here.

As it turns out, there will be a Part IV, which is already about halfway done.  Perhaps that will be a good place to stop.  I will continue to augment previous pieces, if I come across footage that fits too well to exclude.

Excellent video! I was wondering which movies all those aerial night time shots are from. (From around the 55 second mark through to a minute and 14 seconds).

Thanks, Anonymous! I think a lot of those aerial shots come from FEAR CITY, THE EXTERMINATOR, and one or two others.

I love this. What soundtrack is the first music cue from?

Thanks for watching, Jessica! The music in question is the instrumental prelude to "New York Doll" (sung by New York Doll David Johansen) in Abel Ferrara's FEAR CITY. The song was written by Johansen and Joe Delia.
