Good early performance by Penn in this one - the definition of intense.
And wasn't Clancy Brown in this film? I always liked him.
This was filmed and completed in 1982, though it wasn't officially released until early '83, meaning Penn was 21-22 years-old during filming. Pretty damned impressive, mature performance for that age!
Yes, Clancy Brown was quite memorable in his film debut as Penn's nemesis Viking Lofgren.
Viking: "You guys know where this came from? [shows radio] Heh, heh. It's mine now..."
